Azita Ghanizada

Azita Ghanizada, an Afghan American actor in the United States has appeared in numerous television shows. She is an actress from Afghanistan that was raised in Kabul Afghanistan. After fleeing her home country the family relocated to the US. They were granted asylum and allowed to stay. She is the middle daughter with two brothers and sisters, and was raised within Northern Virginia. Ghanizada began her on-air camera career being featured in several National Commercials. For the Laura Neri film A Kiss on the Nose (2004) Ghanizada was the principal character in Chiara a performance for which she received a film festival best actress nomination. The actress has also appeared on television shows such as How I Met Your Mother as well as Entourage, Veronica Mars, The Wedding Bells NuMB3RS Bones Psych as well as Castle. Recent appearances included the sci-fi action movie Blood Shot (2009) and the independent comedies You Only Better (2009).
